Shirogami is pure carbon steel with impurities reduced as much as possible, suitable for making ideal blades that are sharp and easy to sharpen by appropriate forging and heat treatment.
The finish is hammered, making it difficult for food to stick to the kitchen knife surface.
Core: Shirogami-1 Steel, hardened to HRC63.
Cladding: Stainless steel
Blade: Distal tapered, which leads to a better balance of the knife.
Handle: Octagonal Ho-handle for perfect grip. Precious color. Buffalo horn ferrule bolster. Optional: Cherry wood western handle, triple-riveted tang.
