Akifusa Powder Metal

 


Powdered metallurgical (PM) laminated Migake blade, hardened to 64-65 Rc, double bevelled.
A forge-welded bolster seals the blade from the handle. The triple riveted tang runs the full length of the pakka wood handle.
Both blade and tang are tapered for better balance and reduced fatigue during long use.
PM steel is created using a crucible technique and results in smaller grain structure and significantly longer edge holding.
We exclusively get this knives with a special polished section, therefrom results a nicer surface and a better cutting quality.
